Annie Bronte Walton

Annie and her younger sister Minetta share this diary.  Annie’s six months in the diary begin in April 1883, after some pages of 1884 entries.  She is taking music lessons, socializing with her girlfriends, and writing letters.  As an earnest young Methodist, she attends Sunday school and prayer meetings, and notes days when she feels close to Jesus. Her sister Minetta then takes over the diary in September 1884, and when she runs out of pages, she fills in the front pages of the diary with entries for November of 1884.
