Edith Manson

In legible handwriting and lots of detail, this farmer’s daughter shares the activities of her Mother and Father and siblings.  They go to the Methodist convention in Eastwood, host threshers, and shop in Woodstock.  Most of her entries are about the house and garden, and work she, her sister and mother perform.  She writes about their cooking, baking, sewing and cleaning, and includes some essays she wrote at the back.  Edith eventually marries Leonard Matthew Gardner.
