John Sutherland McKay

John is a twin and while his twin brother grows up with their birth parents, John is given to his mother’s sister who is unable to have children.  He is living with his adopted parents in the diary and sometimes visits his birth father.  He makes frequent references to A (Aunt) and U (Uncle) and C (Christina). Embro is their market town.  John regularly attends the Woodstock agricultural show and preaches occasionally. Watch you don’t confuse him with other John McKays in the area.  He marries Elizabeth in 1873 and they have eight children.
