Mary Anne Donovan

When Mary’s father dies in 1893, the newlyweds, Mary and Jerry, take over the Huffman farm, where she had grown up, the youngest of the Huffman children. Staying on the home farm, Mary has many aunts and uncles visiting her from the surrounding area. She bakes and gardens and churns. She keeps track of Jerry’s work and his trips to cheese factory meetings as well as the children’s school and other activities.
