Sarah Walton

Sarah helps with the milking and housework but when the chores are done, she loves to have fun.  She takes music lessons. She goes places with “Alf” her beau (and future husband).  And she provides delightful details in her diary, such as chatting with her best friends while sitting on the fence or “Annie and I went to Bray’s for Butter in our new print blue dresses”.  She and her friends play various games and learn to dance.  You can learn more about Sarah in subsequent years in her sister Minetta’s diaries.
