Timothy Rogers

Timothy’s journals begin with a justification: “Whereas God Almighty has in His infinite wisdom caused me to live among the son of men…I cannot feel easy without giving a short account of my pilgrimage in this life.” For Timothy, his writings tell a story of hardship and, most importantly, spiritual growth. Timothy shows an unwavering commitment to the principles of the Society of Friends. His spiritual journey, however, is rocky and not without criticism from his elders, which, at times, leaves Timothy feeling alone, confused, and deeply hurt.
